I just played this game for the first time last night and I also have the double vision issue only during spaceship movement in VR on the original Vive (non development kit // full release). Whenever my spaceship is moving, even if I am stationary but just rotate the craft left/right or up/down the targeting text will switch to doublevision along with the other spaceships and it gets worse the faster I move the ship in a direction, If I am stationary and just looking at a targeted ship, there is no doubling of the text or other spaceships. This issue does not happen at all to the craft I am sitting in and only to other craft or text on the targeting display. Please fix this as it causes some severe eye strain after about 30-45 minutes.

@bounty44x Your particular problem sounds like it could be caused by reprojection. If you're getting doubling/blurring text and images when moving, especially noticeable on the targeting crosshair then that's likely why. It's not a bug if so and you could stop it by increasing FPS to avoid needing reprojection
The double vision explained in this thread is related only to cantered display headsets and each eye is rendered in completely the wrong plane due to the way projection matrices are handled by the game developers and their graphics engine as it currently assumes both eyes are projected in parallel which is not the case for any headset using cantered displays.
- 5 years ago@AndrewUK1990 Thanks, I don't think I've ever had reprojection turn on before but that is definitely a possibility since I think have supersampling on. I'll try to set it back to 100 percent and see if I still see the problem. I just assumed i would see stutters if I was having performance issues.

hope they fix this one, it's a 20-30% fps penalty on pimax which means losing 20-30% on render resolution to compensate making the game much blurrier than it should be
