Yeah guys same thing happening here. I have a rig similar to all these posts. 2080 graphics, i7 cpu full ram slots and all that fast stuff. I'm also using the Rift S. The bug and severe drop in frames seems to occur for me more frequently when there's a transtition between the 2d screens in game (like after a replay or sometimes even the intro animation in fleet battles. I have managed to kinda fix it by going into and out of VR mode but thats definately not worked every time.
Hope they fix soon, I'm just coming to this forum to hopefully help raise the awareness with the devteam and get it sorted. Loving this game 🙂
