Since the 3.0 update, I've been running into this issue where everything runs smoothly in fleet battles untill I die or go to dock and switch ships. After respawning, my frames drop in vr and it becomes super jittery. Occasionally if I die a lot it will get even worse and becomes unplayable and i have to quickly switch back to desktop. This does not happen when respawning in dog fights nor did it happen before the 3.0 update. I couldn't find a way to avoid this issue and went through several cables connecting my headset to make sure it wasn't a bandwidth issue, so I think this is a bug.Thanks for all of your support and a fantastic game! I've been having the same problem since at least update 2.0 I'm using an Oculus Rift S, RTX 2070, Ryzen 2700x and 16gb DDR4 Ram

I've been playing since release and have had the problem the entire time. I'd say there's about a 50% chance of it happening per game. Occasionally if I wait a minute, the framerate will return to normal, but most of the time it stays bad. Specs:Rift SAMD Ryzen 7 3700X16 GB of RAMGeForce RTX 2070 SuperGraphics card drivers are up to date. I've tried messing with graphics settings, doesn't seem to affect it at all.Absolutely love this game and will be so incredibly happy if this bug gets fixed! Thanks for making an amazing game 🙂

Still experiencing this in version 4.1. I tried toggling out of VR and back in but the stuttering persisted. Eventually had to restart the game to fix it.

Same issue. Oculus Rift S, 1080ti, Ryzen 3900XT.

Experienced this yesterday on V 4.0 after dying. The stutter lasted about 60 seconds and then cleared up.
I also experience stutter when I first approach any of the larger ships in Fleet Battles. It seems to happen per ship type.

@timedmarrowI have a feeling the problem we’re experiencing is not related to oculus link in general (it runs perfectly fine in every other VR game, in particular HL Alyx - one of the most graphically demanding VR games) and it specifically happens when getting killed or changing ships in SW Squadrons.

This leads me to believe it is not a Link issue and is a problem with the game itself.

Update: increasing the priority of the OVR Server actually made the experience worse, getting more stuttering even just in normal gameplay now
