VR Game Crashing every time theres a transition between hangar and flight.

Yavin causes crash to desktop on any gamemode. I am playing in VR although judging by some discussions on the steam store it seems maybe it effects some non-VR users as well.

System Specs:
Index @90hz  
i7-6700k
Titan X Pascal

32GB 3200mhz memory

Updated and most recent drivers. Tried switching to windowed mode and lowering screen resolution as other players suggested this may work.

Please investigate and fix because this is a crippling bug

What happens when the bug occurs? The oculus loses connection (red light). Even though oculus software hasnt crashed. But the steam software crashes and requires a restart.

Having pretty much the same problem with steam be crashing on scene change in the single player campaign.

I'm using Oculus Rift S on Origin and I can ONLY play the tie fighter fly around. Once we come out of hyperspace I get a black loading screen for minutes and minutes and it never loads the level. Same thing if I go into the tutorial section. I am running an i7 with a 2070 Super and 16Gigs of RAM. Why can't I play this game?

When trying to start a mission, usually when it seems like its probably loading a lot of geometry, I get a hard crash to desktop.  This happens within 30 seconds of starting any mission.

Can you verify the game files, here? Then test this again. If it does continue can your attach your DxDiag?

Game files verified, no issues found there. Problem still occurs.

To me it feels like it's generally happening as soon as  I start approaching larger ships, like maybe it's trying to load a more detailed model as I get close and it just can't do it for some reason.
