VR Headtracking Stuttering - Cockpit

What happens when the bug occurs? After 5-10 minutes of gameplay, headtracking produces significant stuttering inside the cockpit when moving my head (e.g., control panels, player model, and all other cockpit interior textures). However, headtracking outside the cockpit remains smooth, in that what I observe outside the cockpit - external environment, ships, etc. - seems unaffected by the stuttering/lag. The only way that I temporarily fix the issue is to enable passthrough (double tap side of quest), then doubletap again to resume VR. I can also temporarily fix the bug by exiting to the main menu and toggling VR off, which brings me back to the oculus link menu screen. If I move my head around a bit, I can see the tracking resets, then I toggle VR back on. Using either of these methods fixes the bug but only for another 5-10 minutes, at which time the headtracking stuttering returns. Rinse and repeat.
What do you expect to see? No stuttering.

What components were you using? Quest using Link Cable. The bug exists using the cable on steamvr and openvr. It also exists on Virtual Desktop/steamvr. i7-9700k, 2080 super, 16gb ram.

I've still the bug with the last patch downloaded just now : head tracking shuttering after 10 min of play. I didn't have this bug last week on first mission 1 & 2. 

An other bug : WIth the last patch the game still crash at the end of mission 2 (bug already reported)

I use steam version with oculus quest & link. I7 7700K, 16 Gb ram , RTX 2070 , SSD install

As of now all you can do is go wireless with virtual desktop.

The game is playable on other headsets. Not quest. Pretty massively annoying imo. I refunded my steam version for the origin version JUST to use quest with link the issue STILL exists. Gonna need a patch.

Same issue with Quest Link 21.0 and new patch for me too if i press the pass through its ok for a min or 2 then happens again.

Same hier. After exact 5 Minuten the head tracking  start to stutter and the game is unplayible.

Fps still ok.

It is nearly after 10 Minuten.

After that you can go back to the main menu.

There the game runs fine again. After rejoin the Cockpit and After 10 Minuten play time same problem. 

Game runs smoth but head tracking is stuttering.

Problem on oculus quest and on steam Version.

If it is on origin too i can not say.

Please fix that. 

I'm having the exact same issue, VR is unplayable via oculus link after about 5-10mis. VR version is so mcuh better than screen version I'm going to stop playing until it's fixed. I hope it not too long!!

I use steam version with oculus quest & link. AMD Ryzen Threadripper 1950X 16core, 32 Gb ram , GTX 1080ti / GeForce RTX 6000, HDD install

Im having the same issue, exactly the same as described in this thread linked below. The game seems currently unplayable with oculus link. Unsure if this is effecting all link users but seems to be the link only, not other vr users. Although for me once it starts it happens everywhere, not just cockpit.

No updates on this are EA aware of this issue ? Works much better with Vitural Desktop set on 72hz but still happens but it’s not as bad.
