How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
How severe is your issue? Can play, but it's highly frustrating
What happens when the bug occurs? VR performance is bad. Regardless of settings. Looks like it's constantly in ASW mode, projecting frames. This happens even on Low graphic settings. My specs Win 10 8700K @ 4,7 GHz 1080 TI OC 16 GB RAM @ 3200 Game installed on SSD Oculus Rift S
What do you expect to see? Should get 80 frames for Oculus Rift S. So it doesn't go into ASW (Asynchronous space warp) mode
Which ship were you playing? If not applicable, just answer "no" or "none." All
What components were you using? Default
Which customizations (if any) were you using? Default
The game feels choppy Everywhere in combat. Regardless of graphic settings. My computer should run it 80 frames solid at least on Low settings. But it still happens on Low settings. I have also heard this same complaint from people with much better hardware, 9900K and 2080 TI etc. Settings don't matter for them either

Same issue here.
VR Platform: SteamVR / Valve Index
Stuttering remains when SteamVR resolution is turned down to 50% and refresh rate reduced to 80Hz. FPS VR shows low GPU utilization and all frame timings being met.

I hope they fix it soon - 5 years ago@HyperionBiga I have had this problem as well on Valve Index. 9900k, 2080ti. Seems that running at 120Hz and forcing reprojection, so it locks to 60 FPS, is best option, but it's not perfect.

Yes I found if I had my Valve Index set to 144 FPS and I lowered all graphics settings to the minimum (in an attempt to increase frame rate), I had a frame rate on fpsVR of 72.
If I set my Index to 120 FPS, I had a frame rate of 60 reported on fpsVR.
In both cases it appeared locked to 72 fps and 60 fps, respectively, not dipping below.
So yes, it seems the best framerate I can get is exactly half the setting I enable on my Valve Index.
2080 Super, 3900x

Yeah I'm seeing the same thing running on Valve Index and I have an 8700k and a 2080 Ti. I stay below frame timings but everything fast moving still looks like a slideshow.

Same, according to the steamVR overlay my frametimes are all green, but game is a slideshow when fast moving.

Same issue here. It feels like constant reprojection. I don't understand all of these people who think PCVR works great but I'm beginning to suspect this is their first VR game and they don't know any better...
