I am experiencing very repeatable 'camera lag' after about 10 minutes of gameplay on my oculus quest with link - gameplay stays very smooth at 72 FPS, but moving my head causes a terrible camera lag where you can see black bars outside of the render area. The only solution is to restart the game, then I get another ~10 minutes of smooth gameplay.
This issue normally occurs in other games only if settings are absolutely cranked in game and you're getting very, very low FPS. This issue is independent of game settings or performance. I have seen another user comment this same issue here: https://answers.ea.com/t5/Bug-Reports/Refresh-Rate-bug/m-p/9535539/highlight/true#M27
Playing with my Pimax 5k+ i do not experience this issue fwiw.

I am having the same issue on Oculus Rift S. Gameplay is fine for the first half of a game, but then halfway through the FPS becomes horribly choppy any time I move my head, so much that it makes it unplayable. It seems like watching a cutscene during the gameplay might be what triggers it.

I wonder if it is only affecting people with Oculus headsets on Steam. The Origin version of the game lets you use the Oculus SDK directly, but not the Steam version. It forces you to go through SteamVR, which often has issues with Oculus headsets.

I had exactly 119 minutes on my steam copy and got a refund.
Got the Epic store version (which launches origin). Same problem! I will say, overall FPS is better for the period in which it's smooth due to the native oculus support though. I think the issue exists beyond steam ☹️

No, it seems to affect a lot of Valve Index users as well:

Same here with Steam and Oculus Link its not the cut scenes as it happens after about 10 mins in practise.
