Forum Discussion
I think it would be helpful if we all tell what kind of driver we are using. At least if you're using a Nvidia card. I've read reports over at the pimax forum that some users have had much better performance with driver 456.38. I'm not been able to test this as I'm at work. Also I have a rtx 3000 card so I don't know if using that older driver will cause more crashing. Think I'm going to try it out when I get home regardless.
Just info for my setup
System Specs:
Ryzen 9 3900X
RTX 2080Ti (tried both stock and OC with same result)
32GB RAM @ 3200Mhz
Installed on an NMVE M2. SSD (1TB)
Nvidia Driver: 456.55
VR Headset - Valve Index
I personally can only play it on Low to get the GPU frame timings down below 10ms. Outside the cockpit is blurry as hell when moving the starfighter and stars are blurry.

What you prefer origin version or steam ? What will be better from VR point of view?
- 5 years ago@deniskamir I honestly have no idea. Its luck of the draw.
I have heard reports of oculus suers having better luck on origin as it uses the oculus SDK unlike the steam version but i cannot confirm that.
As i say, its total luck at the moment if you can play VR- 5 years ago
About oculus I know. I am interesting how origin will work on steamVR as a nonSteam game. In SteamVR there are many video super sampling and controllers profiles for each apps (games). But for nonSteam VR how to setup global settings ?? App steamvr home or what ?
if I will want use DualShock 4 as controller in light vr with iPhone ? IVRx app how will work with nonSteam games ?
