VR Severe Stuttering After Killcam in Multiplayer

I am using an Oculus Quest and Steam VR. Running an NVIDIA RTX 2060 Super, AMD 5 3600X, and 16GB RAM. I don't get performance issues in other games like IL2 or Elite Dangerous.

As subject says, whenever I view the killcam after getting shot down in multiplayer I get extreme stuttering for the motion tracking making the game unplayable - I have to rip the headset off mid match and toggle to the monitor lol. The game runs completely fine before the killcam, everything is as smooth as you'd expect it to be running on my specs, but once the killcam shows up, it becomes unplayable. If I open up the menu in game, it looks like there are 2 or more overlays that are flickering on top of each other combined with the severe stuttering. I have also noticed some performance issues (although nowhere near as game breaking) whenever a cutscene plays in the "2D Projection" for lack of a better term. When a multiplayer match starts up and the intro cinematic plays in the 2D projection, there is some stuttering that lasts maybe 5 seconds into the actual match, but after that it fixes itself. However the stuttering from after killcams just don't go away. I've tried restarting the Oculus client mid match, the Steam VR client mid match, and my headset mid match - doesn't work. The only times I get these performance issues are after these 2D Projection cutscenes. I can fly for hours in training and respawn as much as I want with no issues.

  • @PaladinUltraGame's broken on quest with link. I get black bars moving my head after 10 minutes (severe stutter), so does seemingly everyone on here. As you said, restarting the vr part of the game fixes for another 10 minutes. If you have virtual desktop, just stream it. It doesn't have the issue from what I've read.

This issue doesn't exist on other headsets. They need to get their sh*t together between the refresh rate bug and this one. Quest is the most popular headset. Not acceptable for it to flat out not work.
