Where's the love for the empire
OK so no love for the empire I see, not only do we not get any shields except for 1 ship, the rebels also get 2 helmets for customising their pilots ar the start 😭

The empire never put shields on their ties, they were expendable (same as no eject seat)
No need for lame Shields for our Ties! We sacrifice shielding for more power and mobility. 😋 For the Empire and for our Emperor!
Maybe a future update will give us the Assault Gunboat, or a TIE Advanced. Would really like to see the Gunboat make a come back. But as it stands very few Imp fighters had shields.
TIEs may not have shields, but they are way tougher than the Republic counterparts. A little too much right now, in my humble opinion.
The Gunboat would make for a nice alternative to the TIE Bomber, there's also the Scimitar Assault Bomber. TIE Advanced V1 is already in the game as an NPC ship and I won't be surprised if they add it later along with a Rebel counterpart. As for Interceptors, TIE Phantom had shielding.
- @Trapper9998 TIEs did have ejector seats. (It says so in Star Wars: Aftermath)
- @SuperSpyUU thats Disney backed trash, real star wars has always had the empire as not having ejection in ties.
