Why are you Trying to Reinvent the Wheel

This will probably come off as extremely toxic but simply this is the way.

If you want to remake X-wing Vs Tie Fighter, please just do that..Don't make a game that is essentially multiplayer only.

Now multiplayer only games are fine, but this isn't CS:GO or Valorant what do you think the chances are that you're going to release a game that is at e-Sports quality multiplayer?

I think this will be the test for you on what makes a good game (regardless of what people say they want).

Remake them to the tee and for the love of god don't have any ideas just imitate them please.

I don't know why you torture yourself and us with these decisions, its like rise of skywalker/Last Jedi decision making levels.

    @Teknique_24 its a classic example of modern game design. Take an idea from years ago that was amazing...and then make the graphics pretty and the gameplay worse with less depth.

    I dont think it can even be compared to xwing through to xwing alliance, that would be an insult.

    If anything its a prettier version of Rogue Squadron but with no B-Wings, no snow speeders or AT-AT's to trip up and no land missions.

    And nothing to keep you playing once you've done the story, not even like old games where you unlocked stuff that was worth unlocking...like being able to use the Falcon on all the missions...secret missions for the death star trench run..

    Nah play 5 v 5 one game mode for 20 hours and you can unlock a green helmet. Wicked..

    I agree,

    I would so love to see the following:

    Kotor 3 (no cut content, no plot-holes)

    Jedi Academy 2 (though they would have to decide which ending was canon, cause they would need to basically make 2 games, since you can fall to the dark side or stay on the light side.)

    Tie Fighter (Remastered into the graphics of Squadrons, but the exact same story and feel of Tie Fighter)

    X-Wing Alliance (I loved the concept of being a freighter pilot of a trading company family, only to be forced to run to the rebels to join them.).

    It would be so epic to see them made, for me, story is more important than boring and pointless multiplayer nonsense.
