But again, this is not the fault of Battlefront. You should not have done the research before you got the Playstation itself.
I really dont understand how Fortnite doesnt need ps plus to play online and other games do need ps plus to play multiplayer

That's a great question, however it's not something we can give you a clear definitive answer on because every title varies with partnerships with Microsoft and Sony. As Xbox Live Gold and PlayStation Plus are their services, I'd say for an official answer it's best to reach out to their Support teams to inquire any further.
