I think this is a good idea to temporarily turn off antiviral software and remove the Steam. Usually the next step would be to perform a Clean boot https://support.microsoft.com/en-ie/kb/929135 , but I don`t know if it possible to do this with Bootcamp Assistant.
Right now I have 60 GB available on windows and in order to add more I have to delete and start again, and I would have to decrease mac partition size which I would prefer not to shrink any more.
Also is it possible that my antivirus (McAfee) could be interfering with it?
or maybe steam?

Yes, you can clean boot win 10 with bootcamp installed. Just follow the instructions in the link provided by EA_Archi. Restart, choose your windows 10 system in the bootloader screen. You should have a clean boot now.

sorry for the late reply, I've been busy. I went into safe boot and gave myself admin and diorama now works, I didn't need to turn of the antivirus or steam :D
