Will I be able to do fleet battles with out Xbox Live Gold

I don't have Xbox Gold, and was wandering if the fleet battles will be able to be done offline. It said in the gameplay trailer that you could fight against bots, but does that mean that your squadron as well as the other squadron will be bots or only the opposing squadron.

    @eidorB06 I doubt you could do the online fleet battles and 5v5s...but I'm not sure whether the AI one is offline. Hopefully it is

    The online multiplayer on Xbox requires Xbox Live Gold, I'd expect vs. bots to work without the need to be online but would be great if someone could confirm.

    @Zoutepoel I can't confirm, but wanted to mention that the EA Play game play video for Squadrons does call out Fleet Battles as being one of the multiplayer modes. It says that Fleet Battles are still a 5v5 experience, but mentions they can be played "against" AI.

    It does mention that it can be played "solo" - but I think this is referring to an option to queue without a team and be paired with other players looking for a coop experience. That's just conjecture on my part though.
