Won't launch game
Game won't launch syncs with cloud then does the first load box then just closes and i can click play again, restarted computer, verified files... updated game. still doesn't want to let me play..

Community AdminThank you for attaching the DxDiags. For some of you I see some outdated video cards and I'm concerned there might be a process running in the background that's stopping the game from successfully launching. Can you all try a clean boot which will temporarily disable all non-Microsoft essential services to run the PC and then try immediately launch Origin as administrator.
I'm sure a lot of you have attempted some of these basic steps below, however I'm throwing them out there for others that are now jumping into the conversation.
- Update your drivers and basic PC troubleshooting steps
- Search "Windows Updates" in the taskbar search bar so you can get the latest version. Pending Windows updates can cause conflicts with Origin/games
- Make sure Origin and your games are added to your anti-virus exceptions list. Some anti-virus/firewalls can prevent games from launch. More info here
- Disable all overlays (Origin In-game, Discord, MSI Afterburner) before launching the game again
- Determine whether a process running in the background is causing issues by performing a clean boot. As soon as the PC boots up, immediately run Origin as administrator by right-clicking on the desktop shortcut. Launch the game immediately without opening up any other programs. Game freezes on start up screen (EA/Unreal engine screen)... Stays frozen there and "Not Responding" on the Task manager... doesn't completely crash
if the screen you see is the one below , click on it and press alt + F4 and see if that acts as a workaround (it does for me)
- @proxos666 nah i get past the banner every time.. its the first few screens after that that it freezes up and the music finishes out and then nothing happens after that
