Won't Launch Global Shader

C:/Program Files (x86)/Origin Games/Jedi Fallen Order/Engine/GlobalShaderCache-PCD3D_SM4.bin

Your application is built to load COOKED content. No COOKED content was found; This usually means you did not cook content for this build. It may indicate missing cooked data for a shader platform(e.g., OpenGL under Windows): Make sure your platform’s packaging settings include this Targeted RHI.

Alternatively build and run the UNCOOKED version instead.

I am running windows 10 and have Direct X 12 But I cannot get it to launch- I need help. I can't believe the money spent could be wasted. Please help!!

Sincerely

David Weller

  • I have not received a response from EA yet but it looks like it has to do with your graphics Card being to old for the game.

It does not make a lot of sense since my graphics card works fine with every other game including the Star Wars old Republic game I play all the time.

Hopefully they can come up with a patch that will work.

Are you able to try uninstall then reinstall. This sounds like it could be a bad install.
