@Dave-FQ I had the same problem. Ended up figuring out the issue was that you have to kill every enemy in the area before the scan prompt will pop up. Hope this helps!

This worked for me on the pc version as well. Got no prompt to scan the horn. Went back down the ledges, and killed the spiders that I'd skipped, and suddenly the prompt shows up normally when I went back to retry.
