XBox Controllers on PC Not Working for Jedi: Fallen Order

XBox Controllers don't function on Jedi: Fallen Order Origin PC version. I've attempted old, new, and Elite controllers, both plugged-in via USB and via the wireless dongle. The controllers are working as intended for Madden 20 (Origin PC version) and Witcher 3 (Steam PC version). In Jedi: Fallen Order, only the left stick on the XBox Controllers seem to be functional, while the remaining buttons do nothing in-game. Please help!

@ianburnette In Device Manager, do you see Xbox 360 Controller under Xbox Peripherals? If so, disable or delete it. That’s what worked for me.

  • I fixed it by closing steam, seems like the steams settings somehow hijack the xbox controller

  • On stadia once I get to the menu that tells me to use a controller for the best experience it says press a button no buttons work this is the only game that it is happening on

Many folks telling that thy are player 1,2,3,4. Where the hell do you see that? I am playing with the new EA desktop app, but no idea, where can I check to which player my controller connected to it's just not working.

Genius!!! Yup, I have analogue switches on my KB so it's "a controller"

As soon as I pulled my KB and reconnected my XBone controller it worked perfectly! (Over bluetooth too)
