Yes, I abandon matches (5vs5 Dogfight)

Yes, I abandon matches (5vs5 Dogfight)

Why? ... :  I join to play 5vs5 with random players and have fun (no matter if their level is high or low or if win or lose, are possibilities for two teams)

But I don't join 5vs5 random matches to have organized clans as the opposing team.
So it does not matter the level of the players on my team, no chances against perfectly organized and coordinated clans, they have fun but my team does not. I understand that they have to train to participate in competitions and improve their skills as a team, but not at the cost of ruining the gaming experience of other players who join random matches and are unlucky enough to find themselves paired against clans again and again.
It wouldn't be easier for clans to organize private matches and stop ruining what are supposedly random matches with random players.
As long as this happens, I will abandon regardless of the penalty, I prefer penalty and a slow queue to not having any chance and ending up bored and frustrated.

It is not about winning or losing...against coordinated clans there is no possibility...... no fun for the random team.
Sorry for my bad English.

  • Those that should be penalized are the clans that abuse their superiority, not the players that leave bored of being paired over and over against organized and coordinated clans.

  • The lesson in this tale of woe is DON'T BUY ANOTHER EA GAME EVER.

The game is totally broken by microthrusters, giving Empire the advantage, spinning around like turrets, and boost skittering constantly.

But, they have your money...so...they don't care. The more players run from their servers, the more money they save.

All this whole matchmaking snafu did was encourage players to buy smurf accounts. But, that's more money in EA's pockets (minus all the potential sales in the future from people that are fed up).

  • @Xnihilo2020 I have seen you maining A-wings and boost dead drifting. Don't blame the game when in fact you have been seen breaking it yourself.
  • @mezanu a proper matchmaking system requires a large playerbase. We take Dota for instance. A 5 stack will be matched with a 5 stack. 3+2 with 3+2, 2+2+1 with 2+2+1. But Dota has the playerbase. It can pair up any player composition with another team of the same composition in like 5 mins. This game doesn't have such luxury. And that's why people resort to abandoning the game. I'm not gonna fault you for abandoning because i merely see it as players resorting to their own measures to circumvent the poor MM resulting from a small playerbase.

Thanks for your answer, I understand your explanation, for that reason is necessary that the organized clans do not destroy the small base of players that enter to participate in random matches and find themselves fighting without any opportunity against clans.

  • @mezanuAs someone who frequently 5-stacks, I can say that we have it worse than you. If there's one thing I learned from this latest operation, it's that any game is better than no game, even if it involves losing. Sometimes, my party gets timed out 3 times. That's 30 minutes of sitting around waiting and talking. It's literally a Search Simulator. So, when we finally do get a game, we get a little over-excited.

If you can actually get games every 4 minutes, be thankful
