This problem is with the cloud sync! FIX THE ISSUE EA. It is NOT our connections. ports or some other mess. It is the cloud sync.

I would appreciate it if you would stop deleting my posts,
Your opening of ports does nothing and EA needs to address this.
I've got 2 different PC's - one an HP and another a Dell and BOTH have this freaking problem. At one point I could get connection on the dell... but since February I've been stuck with this issue. Tried opening ports and even brought the PC to work where I have admin access to see if it was truly my internet... NO JOY... it's not me... it's them. hah. Wish they'd help solve this.
Yeah the cloud sync brings up this message every time I launch Star Wars Battlefront 3: "We have lost your data select which method you would like to use: Cloud Sync or Local Data." And I'm starting to think that its the cloud sync too. I reset my router, it WORKED! For a day...
I think I found a fix. What I did is I turned off cloud sync in my settings and my game worked!!! 🙂
what is this cloud sync? Are you referring to cloud storage in EA. Mine was already off.
And yes, have the same issue only with coop games. Ports open, UPnP on (should it be?) etc.
Two playing via the same router, using ethernet. Still get the time out.
Sad cos I really want to share those star wars dreams with my son, who is still a bit young for the brutal instant death that the full MP provides.so bump?
