I have a ryzen 5600h and nvidia 3050ti and this game is almost unplayable. I would say the patch may have even made it worse. There is no visual setting that has any effect on the issues. It is beyond a low framerate issue. The game literally freezes for several seconds at a time. Cal has a ghost that follows his movements. He turns into basically pixels when he runs around. When I launch the game the SPLASH SCREENS won't run without lagging. Let alone getting into the game and trying to run a cutscene or actually, you know, play it. This is the first time I have preordered a game since fallout new vegas, and now I remember why. We pay $80 for a game to not be able to play it. A total joke. I personally want the game fixed properly by EA AND at least a partial refund. It's unacceptable and there is no excuse for having a game not properly ported to pc as if they don't go through the same process for every single game the produce. And then when you add the insult of them pointing to our hardware combos it just becomes infuriating. So we wait months or even years for a game to release and then what? Wait a few more months for it to actually be playable?
And why can't we actually see the vram usage as we adjust the settings like other games? Or how about letting us run a test to see if it works?
The idea that they didn't see this coming is ridiculous. Are you telling me they didn't install this game on a pc and play it before it was released? Stop with the excuses and "we are aware of this" nonsense and just fix the game.
