Can’t use force Lift or Slam in underbelly for rescue Zee mission

Summarize your bug I can’t use the force slam command. I’ve tried everything from rebinding the controls to using every type of controller to uninstalling the game and reloading it. Nothing works. I’m super frustrated because my last save file was corrupted and now I can’t progress because I’m locked behind a gate that I need force abilities to open. Super disappointed with how this game has gone so far, especially after how amazing the first one is.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? On the mission to rescue Zee, go until you first unlock the ability after the cutscene. Then try to pull the droids down from the ceiling and it will not work no matter what
What happens when the bug occurs? Controls do not work and I cannot progress in my play through
What do you expect to see? Some sort of fix for this, this has been happening to players for so many months and the fact that it’s still happening is incredibly frustrating
If anyone has any fixes, please let me know. I’ve tried every fix I saw on Reddit and elsewhere and nothing has worked for me.
