Can't use Force Slam or Force Lift in Generator Underbelly

Summarize your bug After dropping down into the generator underbelly I triggered the cutscene to unlock slam and lift when pressing the map button. After the cutscene finished I got the button inputs to display on the turrets for doing a slam, as well as the door, but pressing the focus button doesn't focus on any of the available targets, and using either button combination just makes me jump/use my force attack. I'm also stuck down here due to the save point at the bottom of the shaft, so I can't retrigger the cutscene nor can I revert to the previous meditation point. Reloading the save, dying, using different input options, remapping inputs, changing difficulty, enabling/disabling sending data to EA, and relaunching the game does nothing to fix the issue.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Play through the story until you get to the point just before the generator underbelly, drop down, block the turret fire, open the map at the console in the middle of the room. Finish watching cutscene, run back to bottom of the shaft
What happens when the bug occurs? I can't use the force slam or force lift, effectively hard locking me in place
What do you expect to see? To be able to use the force slam and lift to destroy the turrets and open the door

I can't target lock onto the turrets, and it seems like the bool that allows the player to use the force slam and lift aren't toggled properly. The fact that there's no way to revert to before the drop also makes this a lot more painful, as I literally can't leave.

Furthermore, upon further investigation, it seems like I'm stuck with no force bar, no matter what I do, and I'm able to use any force ability infinitely

Update: After updating the game with the patch released 10th of May the problem still persists

Update 2: We're now in June and the problem persists

Update 3: With the 6th hotfix released today the issue still persists

Also, have people tried this workaround that seems to solve it for some players?

Summarize your bug First time I get to the point in Jedi Survivor where you obtain the ability to lift and slam, the moves do not work. When I try to do slam, I just keep jumping even though I am holding the right buttons and with lift I preform my jedi ability attack. I have restarted the game and died in order to see if the bug would go away but nothing.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? It happens right as soon as you are to use the abilities for the first time.
What happens when the bug occurs? Unable to perform these two moves.
What do you expect to see? I expect to see slam or lift, not look like a monkey jumping or the jedi ability activating.

The problem is straight forward Slam and lift are not working regardless if it is a keyboard or a controller.

Not yet, but I found some comments on reddit iirc about how the new patch broke the ability for a lot of people, regardless of where they were in the game, with some people commenting that certain areas worked and others don't. Might be caused by the patch. Perhaps we'll just have to wait and see

I didn’t even get the cutscene! I was dodging the turret fire when the game glitched and teleported me through the closed door. I can’t get back to that cutscene and I never even learned force lift and slam. So I’m stuck in the game. Not sure if this means I have to start all over again or not but I’ll be super annoyed if I do. This happened to me on PS5

@Lademirion @WahIen @PhazeSpray @bartobomb Did you remap the Force button, and if so, does it help to restore it to the original key or button? There are a number of comments saying that remapping the Force or Special Attack key or button makes certain functions not work properly. For example, I can't use the blaster after remapping Special Attack unless I first press the original Special attack button. Then the button I want to use works, at least until Cal puts the lightsaber away.

I've seen that too. I tried after the problem appeared, but that didn't solve it. After resetting my key bindings it still doesn't work, so I don't think that's the issue for me at least.

I glitched through a white gate then into a floor and reloaded and now cant use force lift or force slam on a specific turbo

Summarize your bug Glitched through a white gate then into a floor. Then reloaded and now cant use force lift or slam. So im stuck at a turbo lift that i cant slam down.

Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Lift turbo lift in the underbelly and go through the white door where there is a health trophy go into the room to the right.
What happens when the bug occurs? I cant progress in the story

Summarize your bug I cannot leave or continue in the story after Rayvis's cutscene in Lucrehulk. the focus button doesn't work so I can't use force lift on the gate, keeping me trapped inside.

What happens when the bug occurs? I am stuck in the room and cannot leave.
What do you expect to see? I would like to get this fixed. I do not want to have to restart the game and it doesn't guarantee that this will happen again. this is a problem with the game and I've been stuck for a week and the update hasn't helped.

I am currently in the Lucrehulk and cannot progress or leave the area because the focus button does not work. I thought that the pc update today would fix it but it has not. I am very disappointed and do not want to restart since I am 18 hours in and at 50% of the story. Has anyone found a solution to this problem?
