My game won't save, and i have no fix for this error ive been trying for a while.
@trioyea No, you shouldn't need to reinstall the game or the launchers. Unless you somehow managed to install one of them into your main user account, which is definitely not the default location, they should all be accessible in any Windows account you create. At most, you might have to create new desktop shortcuts.
@trioyea What platform are you playing on? If PC, where do you own the game: EA App, Steam, or Epic? Also for PC, please open this location:
C:\Users\your username\Saved Games\Respawn\Jedi Survivor
and post a screenshot of what you see inside. (Feel free to black out your username.) If one of the above folders doesn't exist, let me know which one.

I have it on Epic, im missing the jedi survivor folder. If it makes any difference i have the game installed on my D drive. I had the same issue with Fallen Order, and I hadn't fixed it, I tried making the folder which i saw in a previous forum but that didnt fix it so.
@trioyea If you use a third-party antivirus, please set exceptions for the game and both launchers (EA App and Epic).
If that doesn't help, please create a new admin Windows account and try playing in that. Make it local, as in, don't link it to your Microsoft account. If you do use a standalone antivirus, please disable it just before launching Jedi Survivor, and see whether the folder is created.
Creating a folder called JediSurvivor in the correct location won't help if the game doesn't have permission to write to that location at all. And permission could be blocked for all sorts of reasons, which is why I'm suggesting testing a new account. The new user folders should have default settings and no borked permissions or anything else that might be affecting your current account.

I can't save my progress in Jedi survivor. I have checked clean boot, antivirus etc. At meditation points, it says "failed to svae game, progress was not recorded? What should I do?@kongboomboom1 I've merged your post with another thread about the same issue. Please provide the info requested in this thread, or you can try the new admin Windows account if you'd like.
Hello, I also have been facing this issue it is very frustrating because I had someone gift it to me and I can't play at all the message pops up over everything and ruins the whole game. I tried playing and closing and it does not work. I tried all of the tasks that people have said in these forms and I still have nothing. It is happening to both of my games (Jedi survivor and Jedi fallen order). The weird thing is that there are no save files in my saved games folder and when I take a screenshot it goes into my drive folder for pictures. If anybody knows or has an idea as to what might be wrong it would be greatly appreciated.
@dandandan76 Try setting exceptions in your antivirus for the game and the EA App.
If that doesn't help, try the new admin Windows account, as described above.
