The game loads very slowly and lags - first half a minute after loading is especially problematic and the movies. Had to lower visuals drastically - despite been able to play Cyberpunk 2077 and Starfield w/o issue. Had to disable ray tracing as well. Any idea what can be done?

You're using a preview build. I suggest using a regular build instead. I stopped using preview builds a while back because of graphics issues.
There is a newer driver for your RX 7700 XT. I suggest upgrading, although the upgrade, itself, will likely not resolve your issue.
BTW - Congratulations on having one of the few DXDIAG reports that doesn't have any issues in the Diagnostics section. 🙂
Thanks for that. I updated the driver, but what did the trick was to increase RAM from 16 to 32. Game had no lagging, I was able to make ray tracing work, and everything went well till the first fight with Daran Gera at the Forest Array. Here, the game repeatedly crashed at the middle of the cutscene after the fight (and didn't save, natch). Any ideas why this happens and how to remedy it?
Two things immediately come to mind:
1) make sure your memory is configured to the correct speed for your CPU in BIOS
2) disable ray tracing in the game
