So I just had a crash on my ps5 around 30 hours into survivor. It then told me that the save file was corrupted and kicked me back to 11 hours played. I have attempted to recover from the cloud save but apparently that was overwritten too. The game stats log me at 30 hours spent how is the game this broken? Can the progress be recovered?

If your console and cloud save both have you back at the 11hr point, your progress is not recoverable, sorry.
Is that it? You're just going to write off the dozens of players this has happened to?
With all due respect that is nowhere near good enough and this needs to be taken further. Something must be done to compensate all the players who've had their progress/hours removed.
Can you please add a manual save feature? or the option to have multiple saves?
