Graphics can't load propperly

I'm on Koboh right now, and the graphics are not loading properly. I have big black patches everywhere, so you can't really see properly, and the game becomes very laggy whenever I'm in those areas, and it sometimes crashes from it too. I have updated everything on my computer and should be able to run this game better than I can right now. I have tried to change the graphic settings, but the game looks exactly the same, no matter what setting it is on. The problem is especially bad in dark areas where it is basically impossible to see anything. It ruins the game experience, and honestly, the graphics look like they belong to a game from  2010 or something. I know it was said before the release that there would be a lot of bugs, but I honestly don't feel like this, based on my own experience and what I have read from others, is okay for a game being released in 2023. I hope some of you guys out there has a solution because right now, as a person who plays games for the stories, it is not that fun when you miss half the story. After all, the graphics in cutscenes and when you are just running around don't load, making you miss half of the stuff happening.
