How to set all xbox contoller settings on pc for STAR WARS JEDI SURVIVOR

I have been to use slow mode for a series of jumps and slams needed to get through an area. But it the process, the settings controller key (the 2 little boxes), no longer brings up the hollowmap, but brings up the shortcuts window (with the 4 key choices). And it shows X to bring up the holomap, but it's not the standard one, but one that seem messed up, and I cannot use it like the normal one. I have tried all the "RESET" options under all the settings window options, but nothing fixes it.
I hope there is a file I can delete and the game with create a new factory version that is for the keys on the controller for this game. 
Even if I get this fixed, I have no chance to get past this jump/slam/climb section, since I have tried it dozens and dozens of times. But at least I will get my controller keys back to normal (hopefully).
