Thank youWhat worked?
Hey I found a fix on PC! Go to your save files under C:\Users\"xxx" \Saved Games\Respawn\JediSurvivor and remove the file "SaveGame00.sav" where "xxx" is your username. After removing that file you can reopen the game and it should take you back to a previous save just before you reached the soft lock area. Worked perfectly for me!
Replying to you but this is for the whole community.
I consider the response by EA in this forum unacceptable. I made a video outlining the problem with the game and venting my frustrations. I need the help of other forum users to put pressure on EA to fix this. Please share this as many places as you can!
**I made an account just to complain about this**
I hadn’t played any games in multiple years and saw a video of this gameplay and figured I’d give it a shot because of my love for Lucas Film.
Got real into it and got stuck at this door.
Did hours of research with nothing to show for it and EA has literally done nothing but reassured a fix will happen.
Sad to see a good company that made fun childhood games turn into a flock of lazy bums who don’t care about their target population.
I’m deleting the game because Im not restarting.
Hope my $25 that I paid goes towards fixing this for more determined gamers and maybe some better employees.
sincerely,
A very upset Star Wars fan.

Greetings from germany, still no Update?
This can't be real, how could a company not fix this there has to be thousands of PS5 users who have bought a defective product.
Sue EA GAMES IMMEDIATELY.

@EA_Rtas nothing?
Ps5: GAME BREAKING BUG: Respawn Survivor Singing Ruins.
Sadly, I too have run into the same issue and I own a physical copy of the game. I reviewed the anguished comments, suggestions and in particular EA's lukewarm, bland and evasive responses.
So this faulty product that has not been fixed in over two months and EA's responses have been pithy at best. Therefore the following actions will be taken by me as a consumer.
In Jan 2025, I will file a complaint with the FTC on EA's inaction and I urge individuals suffering from the same bug to file complaints with the FTC as well.
By the end of Jan 2025, If EA does not fix the issue or offer credible updates, I may explore any available legal options.
It is unacceptable for a company to deliver a faulty product, know of the issue and offer middling updates.
Thanks
Ok found a “fix”
Obviously this has been an issue for a while for console users and I spent the last 30 minutes trying a few methods and combined a few until it worked.
It seems the best way is to buffer clip into the right corner of the door (jump+dash and as your dash “collides” with the door/wall immediately hit start then LB and O) I did that a few times until it looked like I was in first person. Then you need to look slightly to the left, basically at the hinge of the door (it should look like there’s a gap between the hinge and the wall and you can see through it) repeat. Sometimes the game will clip you too far and you’ll land on the ledge below. Unfortunately you can’t make that jump. Or it will clip you into the whirlwind and you won’t make it. But if you’re looking and angled in the right area the game will clip you right on the other side of the door and you can make it.
be careful not to be moving forward when you leave the menu as you can overshoot and fall off the ledge.
big shout out to EA the community mods for being absolutely no help at all
