I finished the mission “collapsed passage”, and went on the free roam for a bit, I then died and respawned back into the “collapsed passage” area (under the cantina on Kobah) and the final door to get out is closed, nothing will let me out.
should be able to take the elevator out in today's patch
just happened to me and there is no way out until they do an update to fix it
Do you think you guys will be able to fix this in the next days or so? It’s really unfortunate I was enjoying the game.

Was very disappointed by this as I just spent over $100 on this game and it is now forcing me to restart. Not only that the chance of making it back to the same place and the same thing occurring is making me debate whether it’s even worth playing. Fix this ASAP please!

I Was just able to fast travel out. It didn't look like I could, but I picked a location, and held Return (on PC) and it actually teleported me out, and I was able to continue my save. It didn't look like it would let me fast travel, but I held the button and it actually did.
How exactly? Can you explain
While at the meditation thing, click fast travel, use the arrow keys to pick a place, then hold Return/Enter
