Solved

Jedi Survivor doesn't launch when i load up with steam or EA app.

I've done every official fix and unofficial fix so on and none work! (this includes drivers etc, secuirty etc) I've done everyone i've seen on this EA forums and steam. It just loops the EA app whenever i try launch and refuses to launch.. any actual fixes that work?

I managed to solve it by doing a cleanboot and disabling all non microsoft stuff and having zonealarm firewall turned off and windows virus real time protection. game runs on max settings super smooth and actually launches

  • I've had the same problem and the only common denomonator in all of this is the EA app.

I say this because even Steam and Epic have to have the EA app installed to play .

I say just do a fix that'll let us downgrade back to the Origin app and let us play through that until they can actually fix the (E)xtremely (A)ggrivating  app

  • I've tried all that as well as uninstalling both the EA app and Game severa times.

I've also tried running as Admin which I shouldn't since there is only my account on the computer so I already am the admin .

I think the issue lies with the app itself becasue both Steam amd Epic have to be logged into the App to play the game and they are having the same issues.

  • In my case Avast Antivirus was the culprit. It was sending the .exe to quarantine for some reason. No clue why. Adding an exception was what fixed the issue.
