Jedi Survivor not launching - PC steam
Hi, I know this particular problem has come up quite a few times but I need to ask. I'm having the issue of clicking the play button on steam, then the preparing game bar comes up, then disappears a few seconds later and nothing happens. I've tried everything that the other posts have mentioned, from verifying the game file, clearing the cache on the EA app, doing a clean boot of computer, disabling the third-party antivirus program, and reinstalling the game. I did see post about a year ago by EA_Leeuw talking about the EABackgroundService.log file; I've had a look at the file and noticed a few lines saying 'ERROR'. I've attached the log file to this post. It would be greatly appreciated for some help, and if you need any info on my computers hardware please let me know. Thanks.
Hi @EA_Illium, I actually managed to get the game working. I just had to run the EA app as administrator and uninstall Zonealarm.
