Jedi Survivor unplayable. 14 fps

Jedi Survivor unplayable. 14 fps average on 6800 xt  with 5800x cpu playing at 1080p no ray tracing. 15 minutes too much playtime to return game, all of it spent trying to get game to run. even menus take 10 seconds to make every change. frustrating.

  • Thanks for attaching the DXDIAG report straight away. It's helpful.

Here are some things to try:

    • Use only 1 monitor while you're troubleshooting.
    • Make sure Win11 is up to date. You don't need 23H2 - just need to ensure your 22H2 install doesn't have outstanding updates showing in Windows Update.
    • Reduce in-game video settings to lowest quality to see what FPS you get.
    • Check your virtual memory settings. Mine is set to have Windows automatically manage the paging file size.
    • Ensure you have at least 10% free space on the drive where the game is installed and where your Documents folder is (usually C drive).
    • While I haven't heard of issues with your version of Radeon drivers, you might try reverting to a previous version to see if that does anything.
    • Take a look at the Diagnostics section at the bottom of the DXDIAG report. There are multiple apps that seem to be having issues.
