Just downloaded on pc and freezes when giving hints

I had this happen. I was able to go into the menu, but couldn't advance past the tip no matter what key I tried.  But then finally figured out the key symbol the game was using wasn't the left shift, it was TAB.  It looked like a line with an arrow.  ->|    For some reason I thought it was SHIFT.  Anyway, the game wants you to hit the key it is giving the tip about, so it wouldn't unpause until I hit TAB.  It sounds stupid, but it took me forever to figure it out.  :D
