The game won't start

Question

Hi there, this game just won't start. All I get is a black screen and this thing that pops up (attached down below). I've tried literally every solution I managed to google. All the drivers are up to date—not only have I checked them manually, but also consulted a dedicated driver updated offered by my antibug. I also tried disabling one graphics card so my gaming laptop uses only the other one, but to no effect, let alone uninstalling and reinstalling the whole game several times in different locations, which I've also tried. Hope there is a way to fix this issue because I really feel like playing this game.

After I switch off NVIDIA and use Intel only, the game starts and I can hear the intro music but don't see anything except a black screen. I get a different kind of error:
LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 258] Direct3DDevice->CreateShaderResourceView failed at D:/depot/r8branches/r8release/Engine/Source/Runtime/Windows/D3D11RHI/Private/D3D11UAV.cpp:249 with error E_INVALIDARG

Another difference is that now the game switches off by itself. Back with the previous error, it stayed on and wouldn't close if I didn't use TaskManager.

I’m having another problem with the game starting and have been trying to troubleshoot for days. I wish EA would fix their game so that people can actually play it.

And I wish they'd just let me know if the problem is on my side or on theirs. If it's the game itself, then there's little I can do. But if my gaming laptop is faulty, then at least I'd know what I stand on.

I am now having the same problem trying to start the game as well.

here is the error:

LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 686] pResource->Map(Subresource, pReadRange, reinterpret_cast<void**>(&pData)) failed at D:\depot\r8branches\r8release\Engine\Source\Runtime\D3D12RHI\Private\D3D12RHIPrivate.h:1259 with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED with Reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG

Recently purchase Jedi Survivor and it will not launch in Steam. Disabled antivirus, verified installation, ran EA as admin and ran Steam as admin., rebooted and reinstalled a few times.&nbsp;&nbsp;
