Koboh night - How to keep it

Hi. 

I'm not having any issues, I just absolutely LOVE the Nighttime on Koboh. What's more awesome than a Rancor in shattered Moonlight? 

I plan to leave one slot of my safegames at this stage in the Game, so I can come back and play some Nightly Adventures anytime. 

The only thing I am missing at this point (because of thd story progression) is the ability to grapple onto balloons. 

I would have to leave, go to the Shattered Moon, reach at least the Lab, where I would find that tool. 

BUT, if I finish the whole Story on the moon, I would return to daytime Koboh. 

My question is: 

Is it possible to get the balloon grapple on the Shattered Moon, then leave it without finishing the mission, and still come back to nighttime Koboh? 

Has anyone tried this? I know I can leave to go to Coruscant and it will still be night. What else can I do without loosing the Night? 

Would love to find a solution!
