Load save returns to Main Menu, part of HUD visible

Whenever I try to load into a save the game loads me back into the menu but I still have the UI elements like the health bar and the exp bar as if I was loaded into the game. Even if I keep pressing ...

I got into the seperatist crash ship and then logged out, when I tried to continue my game again, it would load only partly and then show the main menu screen but with my gameplay hud ontop of it. Yet strangely the menu still works and I can start a new game but I can't continue my old one, does anyone know what to do

i've had this same issue but only in a different spot i have no idea what to do but i can tell you that reinstalling the game does nothing
