Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Survivor unexpectedly quits or crashes during gameplay. Gameplay activities where the issue occurs can be any of the following:
- Saving at a meditation point
- Traversing on foot
- Traversing on an animal or creature
- Opening a container box
- Walking or running
- Mantling over an item
- Performing a double-jump
The issues can occur in any of the games primary locations, but most often occur at various points of the map on Jedha. The issue occurs multiple times, including after a system reboot and game restart.
The error message displayed is consistent with the unexpected quit:
- "LowLevelFatalError [File:Unknown] [Line: 686] hr failed at D:/depot/r8branches/r8release/Engine/Source/Runtime/D3D12RHI/Private/D3D12Resources.cpp:507 with error DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_REMOVED with Reason: DXGI_ERROR_DEVICE_HUNG"
Steps to resolve:
- Updated to most recent game-patch on May 1st.
- Uninstalled all Nvidia drivers.
- Installed most up-to-date drivers provided via Nvidia's website, version 531.79

I have this exact same issue. I have a RTX 4080. Before installing the update, I disabled FSR, My game ran much smoother and I had no crashes. After the update, I just keep crashing and losing like 5-10 minutes of progress. At times, I would try to find a save point and even crash once I would sit down to save. It all happens on Jedha, btw. Koboh is fine. I feel like RTX and FSR are not optimized. And yes, I have followed all the steps. Repaired, updated my OS, my nvidia drivers. Everything.

Wow, all your issues are exactly the same as mine, literally all. I've sent more than 30 reports. I've done everything as you, but to no avail.
