Scrap bot bugged and won't drop last pyretic shard

I have completed the game, played through new game plus, deleted my saved info and restarted the game from scratch and the red scrap bot in the basalt forest on koboh still will not drop a pyretic shard. I have my game saved at the meditation point in basalt forest and I can kill the bot and meditate and he comes back and still won't drop. This is the last thing I need for the game 100% completion. Please fix this bug.
