New performance issues, patch 1.05

I'm on PC and the most recent update of just over 3GB is causing the game to crash frequently for me. Before the update it crashed only once that I remember in over 40 hours of gameplay. Today, after the update it has crashed about 5 times in less than 10 hours of gameplay.

It's not been that bad for me but after overclocking I was getting closer to 75fps - now it's back down to the 50 with the update.

For once it seems to be on the GPU side, until now it's been showing as being underutilized, suddenly it's maxing out. Dropping to low settings does get me 10fps back but it's really weird.

I brought the game 3 days ago and have only sunk in 2 to 3 hours due to the performance for a next gen game performing truly terrible. In highly detailed areas I drop down to 20 frames per second even in performance mode. It's the frames that is the massive issue, there is also texture bugs where the scenery loses all detail. It's just really disappointing cause I know the game is and can be incredible, and something to remember and the quality, visuals, story and combat is truly perfect but all of that is diminished by the frames and texture bugs. I am going to put the game down for the foreseeable future until you sort your "finished" game out cause I rather experience a complete game. Just to note: this is written after Patch 5, did the performance and stability improvement improve menu performance cause it certainly didn't improve game performance 

Hey at least you can play with 15fps? With how * incapable they seem to be at EA to literally fix any issues with this game close to a month from its release you should consider yourself lucky. I've been stuck for a week at a * waypoint of no way to even load into the game, and now i've been stuck for a couple of days on another waypoint on Koboh, and patch 5 did absolutely * nothing to fix the issue. Either EA is scamming their devs as hard as they are scamming us, or they are simply incompetent. 

If you haven't read the patch notes you might find your were affected by the following point.

• (PC only) Fix for an issue where lowering the PC visual settings would incorrectly lower your resolution scale if FSR is disabled. 
  • Note: if you previously disabled FSR and are playing on a lower visual quality, you may want to readjust your quality settings.

What happens when the bug occurs? I managed to play the majority of the game with low graphics but now after Patch 5 even at the lowest possible graphic settings, the game crashes every time. The screen just goes black and the pc itself stays on so it's not a reboot or something similar. I am then forced to restart my pc. I would like to be able to play the game on epic settings without it crashing...my specs are: -Intel Core i7-10700F CPU @ 2.90GHz - NVIDIA GeForce RTX 2060 SUPER - 16Gb RAM
What do you expect to see? - A game that does not crash -_- - Your help in solving the problem - A refund if this continues

On 1920 x 1080 (Full HD) - it's fine

On my native 2560x1440 - it's just slow, even on low graphics settings

Previously performance was acceptable on my native resolution.

Something wrong with performance optimization for higher resolutions

Yeah, it seems very weird, I have noticed exact same issues with my GPU, suddenly it keeps itself at 100% load even though it never did it before, and the game lags terribly. Hopefully they'll manage to fix it with the next patch
