It's not been that bad for me but after overclocking I was getting closer to 75fps - now it's back down to the 50 with the update.
For once it seems to be on the GPU side, until now it's been showing as being underutilized, suddenly it's maxing out. Dropping to low settings does get me 10fps back but it's really weird.
Yeah, it seems very weird, I have noticed exact same issues with my GPU, suddenly it keeps itself at 100% load even though it never did it before, and the game lags terribly. Hopefully they'll manage to fix it with the next patch
