Orb bugged trying to free zee ZN-A4

After meeting Z, you need to free her.

I used forced pull to take the orb and out of the slot that creates the first bridge that gets you to where zee is. I put it in the other socket to activate the bridge that takes you to the area to the right of zee (if you're looking at zee). I cross the bridge, open the door using the ripcord thing and slot it into place so the door stays open. I'm then supposed to use the orb in that room and outt it in one of the 2 slots to the left of zee. But I'm unable to grab the orb. No matter where I stand, what I do, I can't force pull the orb. It's bugged out. Quitting the game and loading back in fixed the issue, but then I had troubles force pulling the next orb. I had to manoeuvre around quite a bit until it finally worked.
