Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:Steam-PC
Summarize your bug Since patch 5, the game now frequently crashes due to running out of video memory, making it unplayable. It never crashed like this prior to this patch. System Specs: RTX 4080 16GB Intel Core i7 13700k 32GB DDR4 RAM My settings are 3840x2160, Epic preset, ray tracing on, FSR quality. I have used the same settings on previous versions of the game and it never crashed. It has only started crashing since the latest patch.
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Just playing the game, or changing graphics settings sometimes triggers the memory error. My settings are 3840x2160, Epic preset, ray tracing on, FSR quality. I have used the same settings on previous versions of the game and it never crashed. It has only started crashing since the latest patch.
What happens when the bug occurs? The game will crash completely.
What do you expect to see? A fix to the VRAM usage.

- 3 years ago@ohwooops Since the latest patch (presumable patch 5) my experience has changed from crashes after 20mins to not even getting past the "optimizing Games Files" screen after the EA, Respawn and LucasArts splash screens

I cant even get patch 5 as the EA App itself got a patch and since then when i open the app it maxes out my ram (32gb) to 100% and then freezes the whole system. and the couple of times it has managed to load it then tries to download the Jedi Survivor patch and does the same thing. so none of my games are usable at all
tried reinstalling EA and clearing caches etc. no change at all
