So, the game have been great the first couple of days!
No performance issues, no bugs, no crashes - everyting really smooth.
Then this patch came today - that took ages to download.
And now I can't play anymore - the game is freezing after a couple of minutes no matter what I do and no matter what options I hace changed.
How can you let a patch go through that completely destroy the game for some people?
I have an I7-9700 processor and a RTX 2070 Super graphic card.
Hey @Zessina,
Are you seeing any error messages pop up when the game freezes?
While you've just patched, can you try repairing your game installation as well, just to be sure nothing was corrupted during that update process?

I have repaired the game and initially I thought it might have done the trick.
I managed to play 25 minutes before it freezed again.
And now as soon as I get into the gate of the forrest, it will freeze constantly after just a couple of minutes.
And no, I don't get any error messages at all - it just freeze. Music is still playing but I can't do a * besides killing the game from the task manager.
I also updated my GPU driver, just to be sure.
This is a disaster - the game was running so fine before the patch - and now this.
Can I revert the patch somehow?

3 crashes after the patch today all in the spawn of one hour. 2 with a error code 686 I think it was, and another crash with no error after fast traveling the screen went black and I coulnd close the game and had to restart the PC. So I agree game is unplayable after the patch.

Hey there,
If you're still seeing crashes after this, can we get a DxDiag attached? That will give us a bit more information as to what may be going on here, thanks!
For example, the portion you've listed here is typically one we'll see with GPU related issues. If you haven't checked for recent driver updates, I'd definitely start there.
If you have, it may help to use a program like DDU to completely remove the drivers so you can start fresh.

I tried a tip from a guy in another thread and upped the priority of the .exe to high in the task manager.
After that I have played 2 hours now without any freeze :-)
