The issue here isn't the code not working it's the game not showing up after the code has been entered because the download would not work properly

I understand, but this could be code related. If the code were valid, once it's redeemed the game would be in your library and available for download. Since you don't see the game in your library, that indicates an issue with the code.

I have had the same issue except I got the code from a friend who got it from EA.

You can try clearing the EA App cache with these instructions - https://help.ea.com/en/help/faq/clear-cache-to-fix-problems-with-your-games/. If that doesn't work, give it some time. I just found out there's currently an issue that may be preventing the game from showing up in your library that we're working on resolving.

Thanks for the help, I have already tried clearing my cache but that didn't work, I'll wait until tommorow and hopefully everything will be ok by then

Once the code is used, the game should be in your library. Just give it some time for now though. We're working to resolve issues with our online services at the moment.

Hi, I'm having the exact same issue. 
Redeemed code from CDKeys and it redeemed. Started downloading the dame but it was stuck on "preparing". I restarted EA app and now the game is missing completely from my library. 
And it is apparently now "redeemed" so I cannot add it again. 

I have read through this post and responses and noticed you mentioned an issue with online services (which i think we're all very aware of lol)
Can you please let us know here once this issue is fixed?

I am also having the exact same issue with a code bought from Battlefield 2042.

yep, I'm having same problem. Download was stuck on 'preparing' so I cancelled it to see if I could try reinstall, and now it's disappeared from my library completely.

Really don’t want this to be put down to a ‘key error’ because I REDEEMED the key, the download began preparing and then got stuck. That’s when I cancelled the download and the game had disappeared from my account, it was never an issue with the key as I was able to redeem it.

I need help i have the issue now and it is not May. I bought the game and redeemd it but i dont have it in library
