RESOLVED - Accepting as Solution for visibility purposes.

Hi everyone,

Many thanks for all the reports throughout the night.

The EA app teams have been hard at work to study all the symptoms of the issue that you have reported and they've found what was causing the issue for some, and have deployed a backend fix.

Therefore we're considering this issue, STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor™️ base game not appearing in the EA app game library after code redemption, as resolved.

If you still don't see the game in your EA app game library after you've redeemed a code for it, please try the following:

  • Double-check that you're logging into the right EA account

  • Double-check that you did not accidentally redeem a code for a DLC

  • Manually check for any EA app updates by running the EA app Updater program
    • C:\Program Files\Electronic Arts\EA Desktop\EA Desktop\EAUpdater.exe
  • Manually restarting the EA app: via the hamburger menu in the top-left corner > Help > Restart app 

  • Manually reload the Library page: via the hamburger menu in the top-left corner > View > Reload page

  • Clear EA app cache: please follow these steps to clear the EA app cache

  • Reinstall the EA app: alternatively, please try to reinstall the EA app

    Hello! Thanks for the heads up unfortunately a friend of mine still does not see the game in his library

    @EA_LeeuwYep. Did all that and still no game!!! ☹️ Very annoying. If you can't get your app to work, maybe stop people being force to use it till its fully working. spent hours tyring these fixes to just be told to contact EA again, which i tried in the first place and was sent here. Very annoying.

  • Ok, i finally after hours of trying got it to work, i had to remove EA app, instill Origin, then i started downloading with origin. Then i stop that, instill EA app which remove origins and then i saw the game now on EA app and now its downloading on the EA app, i had to delete to file that origin was downloading too. EA, fix your app please, just annoying gamers to have a broken app.

  • As a workaround, I had been playing using the "origin-10-5-99.exe" method.

    When EA app finally started working, I had to reinstall Jedi Survivor in order to use with EA app.
    Save games and settings persisted though.  

  • I did one last round of delete cache -> restart app and it finally appeared

  • i'm still having this exact issue with a different game. how is this still not fixed

    i cleared the cache multiple times

    i restarted the app multiple times

    i restarted my pc

    i un and reinstalled the app 

    still nothing

    code was accepted and i got a message that the content was downloaded but its nowhere to be found

  • Literally happening to me. I'm not going to clear a cache as I went multiple ways of trying to verify it in my library. Was it ever resolved for you?

    I have the same problem with FIFA23, the game is just not showing up in my library. Ive tried everything EA suggests + downloading an older origin version. Its still not working. I hope someone can help me solve my problem.
