Re: White barrier door on lucrehulk prevents you from going back on respawn

Platform:Xbox Series X
Summarize your bug Soft locked out of fast travel to meditation point for forward control tower
How often does the bug occur? Every time (100%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? Go to forward control tower meditation point after cutscene. Go into elevator and take down to Lucrehulk Core
What happens when the bug occurs? You are not able to fast travel or get to point to continue story
What do you expect to see? I expect to see fast travel remain unlocked so I can travel back to Forward Central Tower Meditation Point

This stops me from progressing the story. Please fix if possible, I do not want to restart my game as I have quite the time already put into this run

Try going into the lift and spamming jump on the way up… it just worked for me

Did you figure out how to fix it? I'm uninstalling this game if it just broke because I went down an elevator

Yessir! thank you! For anyone else who needs this, go to the window of the elevator so that your head hits it when you jump and spam it all the way up. I got it to work after many many attempts

If you're stuck at the big one at the top of the ship/tower like I was, hug the wall when you enter the elevator from the room with a chest at the top and walk to the other side and the door will open. But if you walk in the middle it will start going down again.

I ran into a bug while in that same elevator. If you spam jump while going down it acts as a fall and then respawns you up at the top, but the elevator never returns so you're stuck up there. Luckily a reload of your save fixes it. I wouldn't trust saving at the meditation point if this happens to anyone else. I'm on PS5.

@FoughtGlobe7533 I honestly may be in a different situation but I thought it was broken for me too, but there’s a small terminal on the right side of the elevator at the bottom where the white shield pops up to block the door. Interact with it and wait for the elevator to come back down, hopefully this helps you too.

Was stuck on this problem for 2 hours and almost returned the game… but then I figured it out. Take the elevator up and one of the doors automatically opens. Turn around and walk the other way and the other door will open. If you went through the door that opened automatically, walk along the wall of the elevator. If you walk through the middle, it will trigger the elevator to go down.

What if the elevator won’t come back down? I watch it leave every time I spawn in. Been stuck for 5 days now.
