Splice Door Bug in Bodes Office

Product: STAR WARS Jedi: Survivor
Platform:PC
Summarize your bug I am in bodes quarters where the mission is telling me to go and I have interacted with everything in the room and this goddamn game wont let me through the door with the splice option because it wont light up, unlike for others where the mission doesn't go to * and they can walk through the door. I will have to restart the entire * game. Thanks a lot EA, I have spent around 20 hours just trying to progress to the end of the story but no, a * door bugs and wont let me through.
How often does the bug occur? Rarely (0% - 9%)
Steps: How can we find the bug ourselves? play the game for almost 20 hours and look for this new feeling called disappointment when you have to start the game all over again after paying so much for it, at bodes quarters when you cant walk through a goddamn door.
What happens when the bug occurs? a door is supposed to become sliceable and light up red but doesn't do anything and wont let me through
What do you expect to see? BD-1 splicing a door except it doesn't let me even after I have followed every single step to get through.

    I thought this was happening to me as well, until I looked at my map and saw that I had an unscanned force echo, the picture on the wall.  I thought that I had scanned everything in the room but missed that one.

    Once I scanned it, the door was available to slice.

    already scanned everything in it. the only scannables are the picture, pillow fort and bodes notes. i figure the other persons already found all this as well cuz they said they've been looking around for a while.

    alright i found a semi work around for this point.. it wont fix it for your current save, but you can use another save for the game. its on a NG+ save, not sure what bosses are and aren't defeated, but theres a save for the start of Nova Garon in the files tab. until they work out a patch but this, this is the best thing you can probably do: https://www.nexusmods.com/starwarsjedisurvivor/mods/27

    I actually played through the game twice and got the same bug both times, now I'm just sitting here knowing the bug's been out for MONTHS, still unable to play it. Paid so much for it and can't do a damn thing about it. People are saying, and even my dad told me, to get a mod for the game on Nexus Mods that allows me to download someone else's save, but then I gain or lose extra things and it no longer feels like my own play through, especially halfway through the game.

    This worked for me. I'm still calling it a bug, as I don't know why I had to clear that force echo, but I'm finally able to move forward. Thx
