Steam achievements not working

Small update: this indeed used to be the case.

Hey everyone, 

We have just received confirmation from the teams that the Steam achievements issue has been resolved.

However, I am not 100% sure it's retroactive. It is possible that the achievements will pop upon loading a save.

Could you please let us know what you see now?

Please be aware: you need to enable "Share usage data" in-game for the Steam achievements to work.

Yeah, my issue is that even the EA app isn't getting them anymore, so Steam has nothing to sync from.

@XurkaneFor me they did show up in the EA app but I don't have the layout activated of EA app since I find it bothersome but some people I saw were saying if you start the game in the EA app on its own the achievements might work but I haven't tried that myself yet so you might wanna try that if your also playing the steam version like me.

Cause maybe once the EA app registers the achievements from the game files maybe steam will be able to register it from the EA apps? I'm just guessing but might work till than we gotta wait for a general fix from the devs.

@samuraixmo Were they in the EA app immediately though and just not steam? or did they show up later in the EA app?  I'm missing several in the EA app and I'm afraid to even continue.

@EA_LeeuwI would like to add after I relaunched the game a couple of hours later I seem to have received the achievements and after playing a couple of hours more and closing the game I saw on the EA app I received some new achievements but on steam I didn't receive them again so I assumed it does see the achievements when I start the game up again so I did that and I received the achievements. So it seems I only get the achievements after I restart the game.I hope that information is helpful for you guys.

Played about 15 hours on Steam today and didn't get a single achievement to unlock. On checking relaunches noticed the EA overlay wont launch/show. Previously at least the overlay would shot even though achievements for other games wouldn't unlock either. Checked EA App and it also doesn't have a single achievement unlocked. Even though the hours are tracked. The same issue happened to me two months ago with the Mass Effect Legendary Edition... Any way to fix this finally?
