Stuck on Mantis, need latest update to proceed

I have the game on disc for PS5. I suffer the same issue. I have checked for updates (it says there are no new updates available) and have reinstalled it twice to no avail. I am concerned as this issue was reported over a month ago and clearly has not been fixed. Will it ever get fixed? It sucks as it literally stops you from playing the game beyond the first mission.
